Bushfires engulfed many parts of the Australian continent, igniting
in the north and moving to the more populous south and southeast areas. More than 10 million hectares of land were affected by the wild- fires. This map shows fire counts/hot spot information using the FIRMS and VIIRS data products from October 2019 through January 2020.
